- Shore A
- How hard the rubber is. 25 is soft like a rubber band, 40 like a pencil eraser, 70 like a car tyre, 80 firm like a shoe heel.
- Tensile
- How hard you can pull before it breaks. Higher is stronger.
- Elongation
- How far it stretches before breaking, as a %. 400 % means four times its own length.
- Tear
- How well it stops a small cut from spreading.
